I also didn’t really like the modern cliche of a girl falling in love with the enemy and the enemy being all mysterious and everything. However I would recommend this to older readers. I would also like to talk about the romance part of this book which I found was rather… innapropriate and too forward to be a young adult read. She sort of represents what a normal teen girl is like. The fact that Feyre is also timid and innocent but not a complete damsel in distress. And also, Feyre is a capable and independant individual, yet not as extreme as Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games, which is another thing I really loved about this book. Tamlin, through his mysterious identity and rash features, reminded me of the ‘Opera Ghost’ from The Phantom of the Opera, which I really loved, and thus made me really like Tamlin’s character. Firstly I would like to talk about the characters.
